Top 10-Rated 7M Pictures Supports the American Troops With Humor

Columbus, Oh., April 7, 2002. - The top-rated 7M Pictures is showing its support for the American troops in the Middle East with several short films on www.7mpictures.com.

"Of course war is a difficult time for everyone," says 7M Pictures CEO, Kevin Carr. "We wanted to show our support for the coalition troops by providing some positive, relevant entertainment."

Several months ago, 7M Pictures released the film "Saddam's Plan" on its award-winning web site www.7mpictures.com. This film pokes fun at Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein by sarcastically suggesting a reason why he is stockpiling botulism - to start his own Botox clinic.

Since war broke out with Iraq, 7M Pictures has released three more war-related films online. "The Bunker" pokes fun at the blatant inconsistencies in recent television appearances by Saddam Hussein. "Celebrities on Politics" is a two-part cyberseries that takes on anti-war celebrities such as Susan Sarandon, Martin Sheen and George Clooney.

"Back during World War II, many cartoons and short subjects showed support for our troops," says Carr. "Everyone from Donald Duck to the Three Stooges got behind them. There's so much negativity aimed at our military today - especially from the entertainment industry. 7M Pictures wants to show its support and let the troops know they're in our prayers."

7mpictures.com is watched throughout the world, and includes viewers in Middle Eastern countries like Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, the web site is popular among students and the military as well.

"Whether you were originally in favor of military action or not, this is no longer the issue," says 7M Pictures President John W. Mader. "Now, our men and women are deployed and in harms way. We have to support the American soldier."

All four war-related short films are available for download at www.7mpictures.com. On the home page, there is a special section devoted to these shorts.

7M Pictures has short films, spec commercials, cyber-series and music videos averaging two new projects each week. For access to the different works, visit www.7mpictures.com.
