7M Pictures to Showcase at Ohio Independent Film Festival

Columbus, Oh., November 4, 2002 - 7M Pictures will showcase two productions at the Ohio Independent Film Festival on Thursday, November 7th. The 7M Picture Show, the latest 7M feature, will play at 3:00 p.m., and Cause, director Kelly Carr’s follow-up to the award-winning Ghost Reader, will play at 7:00 p.m.

“Showing two movies at one festival is very exciting,” says Carr, who is also listed as a co-director on The 7M Picture Show. “We are looking forward to this event and feel honored that two of our pictures will be a part of this world-renowned festival.”

Established in 1994, the Ohio Independent Film Festival and Market is a yearly event that shows independent short films as well as feature length movies. The festival is the only event in Ohio where distributors from all around the world shop for different films.

The Ohio Independent Film Festival is sponsored by Independent Pictures which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Independent Pictures also sponsors other programs in conjunction with the festival. Two of the events are an Independent Film School and a Film Productions Training program. These programs focus on topics such as documentary filmmaking and cinematography, which aid filmmakers in honing their craft.
