Columbus, Oh., October 12, 2002 - The newest feature film from 7M Pictures, The 7M Picture Show has been officially accepted into the Ohio Independent Film Festival. The film follows the travels of a channel surfer flipping from one channel to another. The channels are actually a collection of various short works created by the members of 7M Pictures. The 7M Picture Show includes two online cyber-series, Orange Barrel and One Square Block, from 7M Pictures’ web site www.7mpictures.com. In addition, The 7M Picture Show includes various spec commercials and clips from another 7M Pictures’ project, Ziking Cinema, made in the spirit of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 with a South Park edge. 7M Pictures’ President, John W. Mader says, “The 7M Picture Show is similar to the successful Kentucky Fried Movie which was made to accommodate the short attention span of a channel surfer. Viewers never stay with one story line too long before their attention is redirected to a different story.” Since there are multiple short film projects in The 7M Picture Show, each member of 7M Pictures is listed as the director of the movie. "It's quite interesting to see the different visions of all our projects come together so well in a unified work", says Kevin Carr, CEO of 7M Pictures and director of Ziking Cinema. “There’s something in this movie for everyone”, says Mader. “With all that’s in this particular picture, and the array of different stories and types of humor, just about everybody will connect with something”. The Ohio Independent Film Festival, located in Cleveland, Ohio, was established in 1994, and it is the largest event in Ohio for the display of international, independent short and feature-length films. The Film Festival & Market is the only avenue in Ohio where distributors look for different independent works to purchase and/or develop. The festival will run from November 2nd until the 10th.
