7M Pictures Announces the Launch of 7MPICTURES.COM with New Content

Columbus, Oh., March 11, 2002 - Today, 7M Pictures announced the activation of its web site www.7mpictures.com which will highlight short films, movie trailers, music videos and innovative commercials.

"The launch of 7mpictures.com gives us a chance to showcase ourselves as diverse filmmakers," says Kevin Carr, C.E.O. of 7M Pictures. 7mpictures.com features short films, sample commercials and movie trailers that are available for download using QuickTime and Windows Media Player. In the initial launch, the short films highlighted are Cute Dog and Eyesocket News: Gas Main. Both films are under 2 minutes and will give cyberaudiences a quick glance into the humorous, outrageous and creative talents of the folks at 7M Pictures. New films and other content will be posted weekly.

Trailers for three other 7M Pictures projects are also available. Included are the critically acclaimed Going Corporate and the award winning short films Ghost Reader and MANN. Directed by Kelly Carr, Ghost Reader won the "Best Drama" audience award at the Drop Your Shorts film festival. Jon Osbeck and Kevin Carr's MANN shorts - a "live action cartoon" - won the "Best Comedy" audience award.

Also included in the initial launch for 7mpictures.com are a handful of spec commercials produced by 7M Pictures. New commercials will be posted periodically, and the first ones to hit cyberspace are spec projects produced for Procter & Gamble's Bounty paper towels and the Volkswagen Jetta.
