MADER'S 'BRANTS What Do You See? December 24, 2004 - What do you see? Every once in a while, life throws ya bone. Below is a case in point. I was at Salvi's reading the paper when I flipped to the full page picture below. Look at it closely and tell me what ya see. I know what I see. ;-) Now before ya get all self righteous on me. This is an endangered female pocket mussel. (I didn’t name it. Don’t blame me.) It would seem that at one point Ohio and many of the surrounding states had rivers and streams full of many different species of fresh water mussels. Sadly due to pollution and such they are croaking, never to be seen again. *yawn* What really got me was that you know that the editor at the paper looked at this photo. He then looked at the reporter and smiled. “Hell! We can run that as a half page at least!” Clearly some body at the paper needs a hug. Or maybe something a bit more ;-) I got nothing else to say about this. It seems to me your imagination should be able to fill in any punch line you need. Merry XMAS!!!!!!! Yippie fucking yea…..
